User Interviews is a consumer research company that connects businesses seeking feedback with consumers willing to share their opinions (that’s you!). Typically, companies launching a new product or testing a new website or app design wish to gather genuine feedback from potential users. They have assisted over 4,500 companies in collecting this feedback, including well-known brands like: Adobe, Amazon, Canva, Citi, Colgate, GoPro, Pinterest, Spotify, Wayfair, and more.
Why do these companies compensate consumers for their opinions?
Launching an incorrect product or a confusing website can be a costly error! Companies are eager to invest some money upfront to ensure they get it right.
Is User Interviews Legit?
Yes, User Interviews is a reputable facilitator of consumer research projects. Last year alone, over 90,000 participants were compensated, and approximately 5,000 new studies are added each month. Since its inception in 2016, the company has distributed over $57 million in incentives. The average study pays more than $45. To date, User Interviews participants have completed over 500,000 sessions across over 160,000 studies. How Does User Interviews Work?
After signing up for User Interviews, you can view all available projects. For instance, here’s what my dashboard looks like after logging in:

- The payment for each study
- The approximate duration
- The type of study it is
- A brief description of what the researcher is seeking
From there, you can click on individual studies for more details (and apply). You'll be asked to complete a brief screener survey for each study you're interested in. If selected, you will receive a text/email with the next steps. After completing the study, you will be compensated through PayPal, an Amazon gift card, a Visa gift card, or other digital gift cards. On average, participants qualify for their first study within 24 hours after joining!
How Does User Interviews Pay?

If you choose the email option for your User Interviews account, a verification text will be sent to your phone number. Then, the system will guide you through filling out a few forms regarding your professional, demographic, and technical details.
Add Your Professional Details
On the Professional page, you'll need to provide the following information:

- Job title (certain studies are specific to job roles)
- Work email
- Company
- Company size
- Industry
Add Your Demographic Details
User Interviews will require basic demographic information, such as:
- First and last name
- Date of birth
- City of residence
- Gender
- Ethnicity

- Highest level of education completed

Add Your Technical Details
